About Us

“Paving Good Intentions” by Palloma Barrento

Our ongoing mission

Our goal with Tranquility Press is to provide fellow Trek worldbuilding artists and authors a shared resource space by which to trade, collaborate, and draw inspiration from different ideas for different niches within Star Trek’s universe.

Pulling from any and all sources of Trek’s Alpha, Beta, Kelvin, and written work-published canons, contributors can either submit their long-form projects to be hosted by a webring-style landing page, or submit one-shot works that can be classified as anything from theoretical political parties, maps, prospective galactic faction timelines, cultural suppositions, and more.

Considering the tumultuous, taxing nature of social media’s current landscape, we wanted to provide an online space dedicated to hosting fanworks inspired from the historic, non-official Trek fansites and micropresses that came before us (the Central Institute of the Romulan Language, the Kim/Paris Collective, Spockanalia, the Rihannsu database, etc). We hope to, in the future, servce not just a hub for information and resources, but for current and future fanworks.
